  • “Normally I can brush off things, but lately everything is triggering me. For example, I’m talking to a colleague about a project and he says something I don’t agree with. I could feel myself getting agitated. I had this anger well up. I sighed loudly like to say “you’re stupid”. It felt so unprofessional — I’m not managing myself very well.”

  • “I feel so stressed all the time. I don’t sleep, I’ve gained so much weight, I don’t exercise, I haven’t been to the doctor in a couple of years... I probably have high blood pressure. I’m afraid to find out.”

  • “If I don’t keep working hard then I’ll get laid off, but I’m barely keeping my head above water. I feel like I can never get caught up because there is another fire to put out. My team is tired too. My spouse said I can’t quit. I dream about it all the time.”

You’ve probably tried…

  • Just pushing through it
“I’ll be fine once I get through this hurdle.”

  • Rationalizing
The workload: “if I don’t do this they will lay me off”, the challenges: “I make good money”, and the why you stay: “the people are really great”.

  • Fixing it with “best practices” —
Joining the Wellbeing webinar at work, downloading a meditation app, taking a vacation but end up checking in every day…

If you’ve read this far, I bet things didn’t change despite your best efforts.

And it’s not your fault.

Humans are wired to resist change and fit in.

And leaders in tech are wired to be high-achievers who care deeply about their organization.

So when you try to break free of what everyone else is doing in your company, it’s really hard not to fall back on doing the safe thing to fit in..

Think about it:

What if you are the one person on the team who logs off at 5 to have family time while everyone else stays on Slack until 8 o'clock at night?

Or what if you don’t check emails on the weekend and you miss the boss's email asking for an update on a customer issue before an 8am meeting on Monday?

Your brain is like “whoa!! that’s not safe!”

And what do you do when you don’t feel 100% safe to make a change? — fall back on old patterns.

Things like doing more or less, more of the same thing: another wellness webinar, a new app, or just hoping things get better in time when the next project completes.

Or you end up day dreaming about a leave of absence.

There’s a better way.

In order to stop falling back on the same old strategies of overworking and overthinking that produce the same results, you need a different approach.

“When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves” - Victor E. Frankel

What you need is a multi-pronged approach. One that harnesses your sharp intellect, and other resources to help you create the results you truly want in your career and in your life.

Your internal operating system (your conscious and unconscious mind) needs a new update (patterns, thoughts, beliefs, feelings, reactions).

To experience a deep transformational change, you need to tap into the wealth of infinite intelligence inside of you.

It’s time to align body, mind, spirit.

With the right support and guidance, you can create the life you desire.

Just imagine…

  • Waking up each morning feeling energized no longer on the verge of burnout

  • Showing up in life as your true self, without having to mask who you are

  • Having tools to self regulate your physical & emotional state so you don’t lose your cool

  • Creating space in your life for the people and things you love, instead of trying to manage time

  • Experience a deep sense of connection with your purpose and values, never getting off track

  • Tapping into your strengths to navigate life’s roller coasters with greater calm and control

  • Learning how to “work with” and “be with” challenges that creates progress
